Outwith Time: Deriving methods for adapting narratives into sonic experiences
In this project I aim to derive a set of transferrable and repeatable methods for adapting a narrative text into a sonic experience in order to understand it’s boundaries as a standalone format and its potential as an entertainment and/or educational tool. I am adapting Jorge Luis Borges’ Emma Zunz (1948)
“Research Ideas” keeps thoughts, musings, ideas and brainstorming.
“Notes on Research” keeps a record of summaries, comments and ideas regarding research papers, sound pieces, films, books, and other resources relevant to my research.
“Meeting Notes” keeps a record of feedback received during group and individual tutor meetings.
“Notes on Practice” keeps a record of the practical work I do: planning, structuring, recording, editing, etc.
